Are you thinking about investing in a home air purifier? Did you know that air purifiers are available in two types: those with permanent filters and those with reusable ones?
Opting for an air purifier with a washable filter is often a wise decision, especially if you prefer not to replace filters every three to six months.
As the name suggests, an air purifier with a washable filter allows you to clean it easily using soap and water to remove collected impurities. Cleaning the filter takes just a few minutes—simply soak it, rinse it, and it’s as good as new and ready to use again.
One of the great benefits of air purifiers is their ability to capture a wide range of air pollutants, such as pollen, dust, and plant spores, which can otherwise contribute to health issues and respiratory discomfort. Additionally, you’ll save a significant amount of money since there’s no need to purchase replacement filters.
When I was searching for a new air purifier, I did thorough research and decided on the Honeywell Black HFD-120-Q. After testing its features, I was impressed by how effectively it filters out smoke, cooking odors, dust, pollen, mold spores, and other airborne contaminants.
I also reviewed expert opinions, and they universally recommended this product for its performance and reliability.

Room coverage
The Honeywell Black HFD-120-Q air purifier is a high-performance device capable of cleaning the air in a room up to 170 square feet in just 12 minutes. While the fan is quite powerful, we recommend limiting its use to spaces no larger than 170 square feet for optimal performance.
Noise
In our tests, we found that the Honeywell air purifier effectively reduced up to 99% of airborne particles, including dust, pollen, and pet dander. It also performed well in eliminating odors, particularly excelling in our cigarette smoke test.
However, the Honeywell does have some drawbacks. The unit emits ozone, which can be harmful with prolonged exposure. Additionally, there is no on/off switch for the ozone function, meaning you’ll need to unplug the device if you prefer not to use it.
